The house is 69 miles from Rodez Airport, 56 miles from Carcassonne Airport and 52 miles from Toulouse Airport. All three are served by “low-cost” airlines from the UK, and hire cars are readily available on arrival, although for best deals and selection of vehicles we suggest pre-booking. For an easier drive, we recommend www.easyjet.com from Gatwick to Toulouse Blagnac. Flights to Toulouse are also available with British Airways and several other low-cost airlines from various airports in the UK. Rodez and Carcassonne Airports are served by www.ryanair.com from Stanstead. It is about 1 hours drive from Toulouse airport and about 2 hours to Rodez.
For those with your own plane they are very accommodating at the local airport in Graulhet (5 miles) with capacity to take a large twin engined plane (see http://gc.kls2.com/airport/LFCQ ).
The house is about 20 minutes off the A68 Toulouse to Albi motorway. The driving time from the channel ports is about 8 - 9 hours.
The nearest railway station is at Gaillac, 20 miles away which connects with the TGV service at Toulouse.
